Event Programming
Before the pandemic, live events were heralded as a crucial new revenue stream for media companies, with the biggest players investing millions to build teams and IPs. Then Covid changed everything.
But the pandemic is temporary; the role of live events as an important component of any media business is here to stay. Here’s some of the virtual event series I’ve launched and directed over the last two years.
Cloud Talk
A rapid pivot to virtual events saw us launch the first Cloud Talk webinar in April 2020. We’ve since hosted dozens.
Formats include panels, fireside chats, roundtables and workshops, with topics covering consequential issues at the intersection of Asian business, culture and society—from the business of cannabis to leading with emotional intelligence.
Gen.T Stream
A series of online mini-conferences, featuring speakers such as Nobel Prize winner Maria Ressa, Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales and General Assembly founder Matt Brimer.
Community Events
Unable to host large-scale physical events over the last two years, we have focused on intimate, highly curated events to deliver on our promise of providing unique access and exclusive content to our community.
From virtual networking events to physical roundtables and dinners, what these events lose in scale they more than compensate in resonance with attendees.
